The focus of the research is on the recording and conservation assessment of vegetation changes, especially related with the climate crisis. Vegetation-specific recording methods and the derivation of conservation management measures are of special interest. Both semi-natural structures (wetland heaths, riverbanks, etc.) and biotope structures that have been strongly anthropogenically disturbed are investigated. Ecological disturbance issues and the conservation assessment of neophytes are of particular interest.
